Are you struggling to find a local software development talent? Do you want to build a product, but don’t know where to start?

My goal is to help people to answer these and other questions related to offshore development teams. In recent years, I saw a pattern when entrepreneurs with years of experience in specific field decide to hire a team of developers to build a niche product. Not all of them successful, and we will review different approaches to virtual software development teams.

Why me?

I’ve been working with remote teams from Sri Lanka, China, Philippines, Argentina and USA since 2012. Before moving to the U.S., I was myself an offshore developer working for employer in Europe.

I worked at MICROS Systems (acquired by Oracle) for 9 years and became a Principal Software Engineer after building highly scalable back end solution used by companies like Starbucks and Marriott.

After leaving MICROS and joining a startup, I have successfully built multiple products while managing virtual teams spread across different time zones.

The vast majority of blogs on offshore development written by people providing outsourcing services. I on the other do not sell you my team, I use offshore teams myself as a client.

I believe it’s my time to share experience I have with people who want to build new products and services by leveraging the advantages of remote teams.

When I am not building software, I love to spend time with my family.
