Former Soviet Union countries
Most people in the former Soviet Union speak Russian and in most cases, you have to speak Russian in order to navigate the freelancer sites. However, even if you don’t speak Russian you can use Google Translate to browse resumes.
If Google does not automatically translate the page you can right-click anywhere on the page and click on “Translate to English” in the popup menu.
Some sites have both Russian and English versions of the site. Look for flag icons in the top or bottom menu: the English menu can be accessed by clicking on the British/American flag.
